Shogofa is a 19 year-old Afghani refugee, who left her parents and six siblings at home in Afghanistan to go to the United States on an education scholarship. She safely navigated her way to Canada to gain refugee status so she could continue her studies, support her family and become an advocate for young girls from the Middle East.
